Dushi Rentals Curaçao is a car rental company on Curaçao and a trade name of Third Party Solutions B.V., Oudewater 16, Curaçao. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Dushi Rentals Curaçao, and "you" means anyone who visits our website, books with us or rents a car from us.
Third Party Solutions B.V. is responsible for the personal data described in this policy.
02What we collect
- Booking details: your name, email address, phone number, pick-up and return places (such as your hotel or address), dates and times, the car you choose, extras and, if you share them, your flight details.
- Driver details: driver's license information and date of birth for each driver, which we need to check that drivers meet our requirements.
- Payment details: payments and deposits are handled by the payment provider used by our booking system. We see the payment status, but we do not store your full card number.
- Your messages: what you send us by WhatsApp, email, phone or our contact form.
- Rental records: your rental contract, vehicle check-in and check-out photos, invoices, and any damage, fines or incidents during your rental.
- Website data: technical information such as your IP address, browser and the pages you visit, which our hosting provider records to keep the website running and secure.
03Why we use it
- To take your booking, deliver and collect your car, and provide your rental.
- To process payments, deposits and refunds.
- To contact you about your booking, including meeting instructions and changes.
- To handle accidents, damage, insurance claims, traffic fines and roadside help.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
- To prevent fraud and misuse.
- To improve our website and service.
- To send you offers, but only if you agreed to it. You can unsubscribe at any time.
04Who we share it with
We never sell your personal data. We only share it when needed to provide our service or when the law requires it:
- HQ Rental Software, our booking and rental management system, which stores bookings and processes the online checkout.
- Payment providers that process card payments and deposits.
- Our website host, which keeps this website online.
- Communication services such as WhatsApp and email, when you contact us that way.
- Booking partners, if you booked your car through a travel website or another partner.
- Insurers and claims handlers, such as Forensys, after an accident or damage.
- Authorities, such as the police or courts, when the law requires it, for example for traffic fines.
- Professional advisers such as our accountants and lawyers, and a buyer of our business if it is ever sold.
Some of these providers are based outside Curaçao. When your data is transferred abroad, we only work with providers that protect it properly.
05Cookies
Our website uses only the cookies and similar technologies it needs to work, such as remembering your booking session during checkout. We don't use advertising cookies.
To display the website, your browser also loads fonts from Google Fonts and the live Curaçao temperature from Open-Meteo. These services receive your IP address to deliver that content.
If we add analytics or marketing tools in the future, we will update this policy first. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the booking process may then stop working.
06How long we keep it
- Booking and rental records, invoices and payment records are kept for as long as tax and accounting laws require.
- Messages and other data are kept only as long as needed for the purpose they were collected for, or to handle a claim or dispute.
- When data is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.
07Security
We protect your data with secure (HTTPS) connections, trusted providers and limited access for our team. No method of sending or storing data online is 100% secure, but we work hard to keep your information safe.
08Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- see the personal data we have about you;
- correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
- delete your data, unless we must keep it by law;
- stop using your data for a certain purpose, such as offers;
- withdraw consent you gave earlier.

09Children
Our services are meant for adults. Drivers must be at least 21. We don't knowingly collect data from children, except for the age of a child when you ask for a free child seat.
10Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If we make important changes, we'll make that clear on our website.
